Arsenicum sulphuratum flavum is a valuable homoeopathic medicine prepared from Arsenious Sulphide (Orpiment – As₂S₃), through trituration. It is chiefly indicated in cases involving chronic diarrhoea, gonorrhoea, indigestion, and nervous restlessness. This medicine is particularly suited to emaciated children, individuals with burning gastric symptoms, and patients suffering from weakness with offensive discharges. Its sphere of action also includes conditions affecting the skin, mucous membranes, and male reproductive system, as well as nervous states with intense anxiety. Common Name English: Orpiment SBL's Arsenicum sulphuratum flavum can be helpful in the following conditions: Diarrhoea and Stomach Burning Beneficial in chronic, offensive diarrhoea with watery, green, and slimy stools. Particularly indicated for diarrhoea occurring daily at 8 a.m. and continuing throughout the day, sparing nighttime. Eases associated colic, tenesmus, and backache linked to loose bowels. Alleviates gnawing and burning sensations in the stomach, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Useful in cases of indigestion marked by disgust for food and yellow-white furred tongue. Anxiety and Emotional Disturbances Addresses intense anxiety and apprehension, especially when torturous or obsessive in nature.
