Gandharvahastadi Kashaya Tablet is derived from the classical Kashaya formulation described in Sahasrayoga and adapted into a convenient tablet form. Its ingredients traditionally include Gandharvahasta (castor root/Ricinus communis)—used for its gentle laxative action and support to abdominal motility; Chirabilva (Holoptelea integrifolia) for soothing digestive discomfort; Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica) and Ginger (Zingiber officinale) to enhance digestive fire and alleviate indigestion. It also contains Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa), Yavasa (Tragia involucrata), and Bhumitaala (Curculigo orchioides), which collectively support mild cleansing of the gut, balanced Vata, and improved appetite. Traditionally, this tablet form is used for easing constipation, relieving abdominal fullness, and supporting overall digestive clarity.
