Radium bromatum is an important homoeopathic medicine, Derived from Radium with a radio-activity of 1,800,000 units, this medicine is useful in treating chronic rheumatism, gout, various skin disorders (acne rosacea, nævi, and moles), ulcers, cancers, and conditions associated with profound systemic weakness. It is notable for severe, aching pains relieved by motion, trophic changes in tissues, and a marked increase in polymorphonuclear neutrophiles.
