Phyllanthus niruri, a homoeopathic medicine prepared from the whole plant belonging to the Euphorbiaceae family, is a valuable medicine particularly known for its strong action on the liver, kidneys, and urinary tract. Valuably recognized for its hepatoprotective and lithontriptic (stone-dissolving) properties, in homoeopathy it is used in cases of jaundice, hepatitis, gallstones, renal colic, and urinary calculi. Helps in enlargement of the liver and spleen. Renal Calculi and Dysuria A chief medicine for renal calculi (“stone breaker”), easing passage of stones.
