Belonging to the Ranunculaceae family, it has been traditionally valued for its therapeutic properties in treating mucous membrane disorders and digestive disturbances. In homoeopathy, Hydrastis canadensis is primarily used to address symptoms such as thick yellow discharges, sinusitis, and gastric issues. It is also employed for its effects on chronic catarrh, sore throat, and eye infections.
