Cinnamomum, prepared from the tincture of the bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum or C. cassia of the Lauraceæ family, is a valuable homoeopathic remedy known for its action in digestive complaints, uterine hemorrhages, and circulatory disturbances. It is especially effective in managing bright red bleeding, gastrointestinal irritation, and symptoms that worsen from physical exertion, lifting, or overreaching. It is also useful in female complaints during gestation and in the puerperal period.
