Some of the things that Indians do for entertainment might seem bizarre to the rest of the world (IMHO). This is a land of some amazing people who do things just a little differently, including entertainment. We resort to the simplest and the cheapest means to keep the monotony at bay and still making our lives feel livelier. Here are some evidences of our awesomeness:

Indulge on Social Media Platforms
As per a report by Omydar Network, Indian spends 200 minutes a day on mobile apps, out of which 70 percent of the time is invested on social media and other forms of entertainment.

Watch Bollywood Films
All the time. We don’t mind a Rohit Shetty and Salman Khan movie when in need.

Gossip
His sister’s husband’s cousin’s daughter-in-law’s mother wore the same dress.

Senior Entertainment
While uncles discuss and sort all the political problems during their morning walk and the news hour debate, aunties are self-deployed, part time security cameras, holding all the answers to who, when, what, where, why and how.

Enjoy Festivals and Public Holidays
We have too many of them, some part of India is celebrating some kind of festival every month. We may not like the festival at all, but we don’t mind enjoying the work day off.

We breathe Cricket
Old matches, new matches, matches watched on loop, this is one sport that can lift our mood at any given time.

Maundering in the Mall
To us, malls are still the places for window shopping. We don’t mind spending 4 hours of our precious Sunday looking around things in the mall and not buying anything at all. What a pleasure!
