Priyanka Chopra’s Stunning Outfits to Bookmark this Wedding Season

As Indians, wedding stories make us feel so excited. We can spend hours thinking of the food, venue and of course the wedding outfits and this is exactly what we did when Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied knot in a weekend long ceremony in the country. All the fans eagerly waited for the newlywed couple to give a glimpse of their fairytale wedding and the dreamy outfits they wore.

The Quirky Anarkali for Mehendi

Priyanka wore a ‘fabulously folky, multi-hued organdy ensemble’ by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla inspired by a vintage AJSK collection. Nick wore an aqua bakhiya kurta by the same designer duo.  

Sangeet in Silver Saree  

The fierce dance and song competition between the celeb families was reportedly a huge celebration of love with the atmosphere full of laughs, whistles, happiness and cheering noises. What couldn’t go unnoticed in this super fun musical gala was the understated glamour of Priyanka’s silver-gold saree. Yet another design by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, the hand embroidered sequin saree is sure to take you back to her 2008, ‘Desi Girl’ avatar.       

The Classic Red Lehenga

Designed by Sabyasachi, the sparkling crimson lehenga made PC look no less than an Indian princess on her special day. The outfit is a gorgeous amalgamation of tradition and modern chic adorned with hand-cut organza flowers, French knots in silk floss, Siam-red crystals intricately woven with thread embroidery for that insanely rich red wedding lehenga. We are obsessed with Priyanka and Nick’s style and of course with their love for each other which is so evident.    

The Ralph Lauren Wedding Dress

Priyanka slipped into an intricately detailed, hand-beaded Ralph Lauren wedding gown for the Christian ceremony. The dress boasted of some magnificent details including a 75 foot veil and 1,826 hours of labour put in making the splendid outfit. Jonas with heart eyes for Priyanka waited at the altar in a sharp Lauren suit.           

The Champagne Lehenga for Reception

The couple looked besotted with each other during their reception ceremony in Delhi making the guests swoon over the newlyweds. While Mr Jonas opted for a navy suit, Priyanka looked stunning in her sparkling champagne lehenga by Falguni Shane and Peacock.
